Dr. Murali Dronamraju: Dr. Murali has over 20 years of experience in the areas of Business Development lifecycle, Program Management, and Business Operations (P&L), within the public sector and commercial markets. He held executive/senior leadership positions at various organizations, leading business units and business development teams. He worked for small, 8(a), SDVOSB, and minority owned businesses as well as large corporations, such as, Honeywell, Hewlett Packard and Booz Allen Hamilton. Dr. Murali is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, University College.
Dr. Murali earned a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA). He is a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE). He had Earned Value Professional (EVP) certification. Dr. Murali has several publications to his credit in peer reviewed international journals.
Mr. Robert Matz: As a senior executive and proven leader, Mr. Matz has over 35 years of accepting major challenges in IT management and marketing, serving both commercial and government sectors. Mr. Matz has unique qualifications in competitive strategies, business planning, joint ventures and relations with Fortune 500 companies. His multi-talented background and business acumen prove to be a strong asset to any management team. The total engagement value of contracts won over his career is in excess of $1B.
Mr. Matz earned an MBA from National University. He is ITIL v3 Foundation for Service Management, Certified. Mr. Matz is AFCEA Lifetime Member and was AFCEA International Small Business Committee Co-Chairman.
Ms. Stephanie Brodie: Stephanie Brodie has over 35 years of experience in Business Development and Capture Management. In that period of time, she has been a BD/Capture Manager for both large and small businesses and has been the primary resource in capturing over $1B in contracts. She has been an employee, a consultant as well as owned several companies including being a partner in an 8(a) firm that she built to the point of selling the firm. Ms. Brodie has significant successful experience in business development within the Federal Market, is adept at strategy development and implementation of win strategies for complex requirements, excels at relationship development and maintenance of relationships with key decision makers.
Ms. Brodie has a Bachelor’s degree from American University. She is Shipley trained in Capture Management.
Benita Bottom – Business Development Consultant
Passionate about business growth, IT and innovation Benita has provided business development and capture for both small and large businesses focused on Government and Defense IT and mission challenges. With twenty years of diverse and well-rounded experience including data communications, telecommunications, enterprise software management, information security and management IT consulting, Benita is knowledgeable working across government markets to develop and close business. As a University of Tennessee Volunteer with a degree in Microbiology she moved north and decided on a career path in technology. To round out her education she completed her MBA and MS Information Management at Marymount University while working full time. One of Benita’s key strengths is her ability to connect and work with people from multiple and diverse backgrounds and organizations. This ability enhances her capacity to develop coalitions internally and build trusted business relationships with both clients, industry partners and colleagues. Benita is a current Board member of the AFCEA DC Chapter and the Cyber Working Group.
